European Hydromine delegation visits Carmans in Lummen

This month, Group Carmans welcomed an international delegation of researchers and industry representatives working together on the Hydromine project: an innovative European initiative exploring how valuable gases and hydrogen can be recovered from residual waste.

Participants from across Europe gathered at our new offices in Lummen for talks and progress updates. Their visit also included a tour of our soil remediation facility, where they saw first-hand how we approach sustainable processing and circular raw materials.

Carmans is not itself a partner in the Hydromine project, but we are proud to have offered our facilities as a meeting place for this pioneering research. It fits our wider mission: supporting knowledge-sharing and innovation across the circular sector.
